WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of Project AWARE is to develop a sustainable infrastructure for school-based mental health programs and services. The purpose of this program is to improve the health of people who inject drugs (PWID) by reducing incidence of hepatitis A, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV, and overdose mortality among PWID in the United States. The program supports efforts to improve the health of populations disproportionately affected by HIV, Viral Hepatitis, sexually transmitted diseases and TB by maximizing the health impact of public health services, reducing disease incidence, and advancing health equity. Click here for more information.
