Grants Analyst

The Ferguson Group (TFG) is searching for a motivated Grants Analyst that is interested in working with a fast-paced, dynamic team to identify and secure grant funding for critical projects in communities across the country. Under the direct supervision of Senior Grants Team personnel, the Grants Analyst will have the chance to work directly alongside TFG partners and staff with decades of experience in public service and government relations who are working to make a direct and meaningful impact in communities across the U.S. The Grants Analyst will experience all aspects of the federal funding process, from identifying funding opportunities to securing federal funding!

Communications Director

The Ferguson Group, LLC (TFG) specializes in representing local governments before Congress and the Administration. Since opening our doors in 1982, the firm has worked with communities across the country to help advance and protect their interests in Washington. We work with clients to draft legislative solutions and impact federal policy to address their specific needs. TFG seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Director of Communications to provide support and produce high-quality communications (both print and digital) from concept to execution as part of an amazing, multi-disciplinary team.  Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a communications field (or equivalent practical experience) with no less than two years of experience.  The ideal candidate is passionate, smart, collaborative, creative and looking to enhance their communications experience and portfolio in a dynamic and fun environment.

Research Intern

The TFG Internship Program is seeking a Research Intern to assist firm lobbyists and staff on short-term to medium-length projects.  Daily assignments often include: researching and tracking federal legislation; searching previous and current appropriations bills for critical information; locating grant opportunities for municipal government and nonprofit clients; assisting with public relations by compiling information for TFG's website, database, and business proposals; attending congressional and industry hearings and briefings; and writing blog posts, summaries and memorandums.  Research Interns will also be responsible for contributing to research and written content for technical reports on economic development planning, grant proposals, demographic analysis, environmental issues, and related subjects.
