On Tuesday January 12th, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released its FY 2020 list of WIFIA applicants invited to submit full proposals and compete for approximately $5.1 billion in clean water and drinking water infrastructure loans. WIFIA, or the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act is a federal credit program providing loans to eligible borrowers to improve water quality and public health. The program announced it approved 55 of the 67 Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) it received for full application submissions. Of note, the FY 2020 solicitation expanded the programs geographic scope by inviting entities from Alabama, Iowa, Ohio, Texas, and West Virginia to submit full applications for the first time since the program’s inception in 2014.
TFG is proud to announce its involvement with three LOIs which were selected to apply for full applications. Congratulations to all invited applicants.
