Jay De La Rosa is a Grants Specialist at TFG. Before joining TFG, Jay spent six years helping cities, counties, and states manage their grant portfolios on a SaaS platform. During this time, he was a strong client advocate and thought partner for organizations such as Rhode Island, Indiana, Arizona, California Housing and Community Development, and CAL FIRE.
Jay learned how impactful government services are during his time with the County of Los Angeles. Jay was hired in the inaugural year of the Los Angeles County Management Fellowship Program. During his tenure, he worked in the workforce department in both the youth and adult programs. His proudest achievement was co-creating a NACO-award-winning program that placed at-risk youths into subsidized and unsubsidized work.
Jay received his Bachelor of Arts in government with a minor in German from the University of Texas at Austin and his Master of Public Administration with a focus on public sector leadership and management from California State University at Northridge.
