WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide financial assistance for rural communities to further develop renewable energy. Grant funds can be used to support community energy planning, capacity building, technical assistance, community efficiency and weatherization, and installation and equipping community-scale renewable energy technologies and systems.
