WHAT DOES IT FUND? The intent of this program is to demonstrate and evaluate the viability and effectiveness of a small number of accelerators in expediting the development and delivery of specific transportation projects within five designated regions: Cleveland, Chicago, Fresno, San Diego, and Seattle. Public entities, including a state, multi-state or multi-jurisdictional group, municipality, county, a special purpose district or public authority with a transportation function including a port authority, a tribal government or consortium of tribal governments, metropolitan planning organizations, regional transportation planning organization (RTPO), Regional Transportation Commission, or a political subdivision of a State or local government
