WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to further the funding agency's mission of assisting state, local, and tribal efforts to prevent or reduce crime and violence. Awards may be used to provide additional personnel, equipment, supplies, contractual support, training, technical assistance, and information systems for criminal justice or civil proceedings.
