Grant Due (Grants.gov): FY 2023 Smart Policing Initiative (SPI)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program advances the state of policing practice, accountability, and science by providing funding, training, and technical assistance to jurisdictions to develop new approaches to pressing law enforcement challenges, documenting the resulting successes and lessons learned, and widely disseminating them to the policing community to encourage the adoption of innovative and effective policing strategies nationwide. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies; federally recognized Indian tribal governments that perform law enforcement functions; and tribal consortia, including tribal consortia operated as nonprofit organizations
