WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to develop, expand, and strengthen victim service programs for all victims of crime throughout the United States and its territories. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligible Category 1 applicants are states, counties, cities or townships, and special district governments; Native American Tribal governments; educational organizations; public housing organizations; nonprofit organizations; and other units of local government. Eligible Category 2 applicants are Formula Assistance and Compensation state administering agencies (SAAs).
