Grant Due: FY 2021 Community Compost and Food Waste Reduction (CCFWR) Pilot Project
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The cooperative agreements available through this program support projects that develop and test strategies for planning and implementing municipal compost plans and food waste reduction plans with the objectives that may include generating compost, increasing access to composted material, reducing reliance on fertilizers, improving soil quality, encouraging waste management, increasing rainwater soil absorption, reducing municipal food waste, and diverting food waste from landfills.
