Grant Due: FY 2021 Postconviction Testing of DNA Evidence
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to ensure the availability of fair and impartial administration of justice to Americans who may have been unjustly convicted by providing funding to assist in defraying the costs associated with postconviction case review, evidence location, and DNA testing in violent felony cases where the results of such testing might show actual innocence.
