Grant Due: FY 2022 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) Battery Materials Processing and Battery Manufacturing
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to ensure that the U.S. has a viable battery materials processing industry to supply the North American battery supply chain. The program will expand the capabilities of the U.S. in advanced battery manufacturing, enhance national security by reducing the reliance of the U.S. on foreign competitors for critical materials and technologies, and enhance the domestic processing capacity of minerals necessary for battery materials and advanced batteries.
