TFG Grants Expert to Hold “Brownfields 101” Webinar

Kristen H. Long will give participants a jumpstart on securing funding for Brownfields projects their communities.

WASHINGTON D.C. – Next week, The Ferguson Group (TFG) Grants Analyst and Brownfields expert, Kristen H. Long, will hold “Brownfields 101” webinar. Public agency and municipal leaders interested in learning about brownfields and getting a jumpstart to secure funding for their communities will learn the basics of the EPA brownfield grants program including what constitutes a brownfield, the basics of the assessment and cleanup processes, and the ins and outs of what EPA funding can be used for (Hint: not just environmental sampling and cleanup!).

“I purposefully scheduled this webinar to give participants a jumpstart prior to the release of the grant solicitation,” said Kristen. “The knowledge gained from this presentation will help communities understand the steps they can take now to prepare themselves for a successful grant application.”

Participants will also have the opportunity to get their questions answered live during the webinar. Following the webinar, participants will receive a Brownfield Special Report with the latest Brownfield funding opportunities and FAQ document with answers to questions submitted during the event.
