WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program provides funding for technical assistance related to pipeline safety such as engineering, research, and other scientific analyses of pipeline safety issues, including the promotion of public participation on technical pipeline safety issues. This program intends to provide opportunities to strengthen the depth and quality of public participation in the safe development and operation of pipelines in and around communities.
