FY 2023 Rural and Municipal Utility Cybersecurity (RMUC) Advanced Cybersecurity Technology (ACT) 1 Prize
WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will improve the ability of utilities to protect against, detect, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity threats. ACT 1 cash prizes will be available to eligible utilities to incentivize meaningful, impactful investments in cybersecurity technologies and support training to increase the knowledge, skills, and abilities of utility staff. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State and local governments; special districts, Native American tribal organizations, higher education institutions, school districts, public housing authorities, nonprofits, and for-profit businesses. While applicants can be from outside the Chesapeake watershed, only projects that take place in the watershed will be considered.
