FY 2024 Hazardous Fuels Transportation Assistance (HFTA) Program
WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to enhance the pace and scale of the U.S. Forest Service’s Wildfire Crisis Strategy by facilitating and increasing the removal of hazardous fuels from National Forest System (NFS) lands and/or the removal of hazardous fuels that benefit NFS lands as well as supporting the utilization of such wood resources to make contributions to the economy.
