WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide safe, stable, and appropriate shelter to pregnant or parenting youth who are 16 to 21 years of age who have run away from home, been forced to leave home, have no safe alternate living arrangement, are experiencing homelessness, or are at risk of being homeless. State, local, special district, and federally recognized Native American tribal governments; public and nonprofit private entities with or without 501(c)3 status; public and Indian housing authorities; school districts; private, public, and state-controlled institutions of higher education; and Native American tribal organizations
