WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support, enrich, and evaluate Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) safety programs and to target unsafe driving in areas identified as high-risk crash corridors, promote the safe and secure movement of hazardous materials, improve safety of transportation of goods and passengers in foreign commerce, demonstrate new technologies to improve safety, support safety data improvement projects, increase public awareness and education, and otherwise improve CMV safety.
