Grant Due: FY 2021 Collaborative Approaches toward Preventing and Addressing Hate Crime — Demonstration Projects 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program funds efforts to develop comprehensive approaches between federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement and community-based organizations to address a precipitous increase in hate crimes. These approaches may include conducting outreach, educating practitioners and the public, enhancing victim reporting strategies, and investigating and prosecuting hate crimes committed on the basis of the victim’s perceived or actual race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or disability.
